What we need to start
What the battery powers, the load, hours of autonomy, available space, connector and operating temperature. From that we propose an architecture. Prototypes take from a few days to two months, depending on the mechanical and electronics work.

Who makes custom battery packs in Europe?

What is a BMS?
The Battery Management System protects the pack: it cuts on over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and out-of-range temperature, and balances cells. On lithium it is not optional. When the host must read data, we add CANbus or RS-485.
Which chemistries and V/Ah ranges?
Li-ion, LiFePO4, lead-acid AGM/GEL, LTO, Ni-Cd and Ni-MH. Typical range 1.2 V to 48 V (up to 72 V on request) and 0.8 to 600 Ah. The BMS is developed with specialist engineering to the protocol your equipment already uses.
